Jenn Waltner here, proprietor of PowderKegCompacts.com. I sell and collect vintage powder compacts and cosmetics accessories. Best described as vintage-eclectic. In addition to compacts, I also dig 1940s and ’50s cookware, red lipstick, shoes, and all kinds of other random stuff you can read about in this blog.

Hello. I came across your website thru internet searching. I have a Stratton Powder Compact that has a Josiah Wedgwood & Sons design that was given to me many years ago (I never used it but the powder puff has disentegrated) and I have been trying to find out if it is worth anything or not. Was wondering if you would be interested in buying it? I have pictures if you would like to see it. Thanks.
Diane
Hello Jenn,
Do you know about the British Compact Collectors Society ? We have been running since 1995 and have around 400 members, in the UK and overseas.
I can’t see where you are located, but everyone, wherever they are is welcome to join us. We have a Facebook page and a website. We have 3 very informative newsletters a year and an annual convention.
